Tires are the only part of your vehicle that touches the road. In a climate like Miami — hot sun, sudden rainstorms, and slippery roads — tire condition directly affects your safety.
✅ Heat Causes Faster Wear
Road temperatures can exceed 140°F in summer. This makes rubber soften and degrade faster, increasing blowout risk — especially at highway speeds.
✅ Check Tread Depth Regularly
Low tread = poor grip during storms. The minimum legal tread depth is 2/32 of an inch, but we recommend replacement at 4/32 for wet-road safety. If the “penny test” shows Lincoln’s head clearly, it’s time for new tires.
✅ Keep Pressure Perfect
Under-inflated tires waste fuel and overheat — the main cause of tire failure. Over-inflated tires have less traction and can skid in rain. Our shop checks and adjusts pressure to manufacturer specs for optimal performance.
✅ Rotate and Balance
Uneven wear leads to rough rides and early tire replacement costs. Regular rotation helps tires wear evenly so they last longer and perform better.
